Triumph Rocket secure outdoor motorcycle storage – heavy cruiser Fatboy installation
Intro
This project documents secure outdoor motorcycle storage for a Triumph Rocket, focusing on safely accommodating one of the largest and heaviest cruiser motorcycles available. With no garage available, the customer required a robust outdoor storage solution capable of handling the Rocket’s size, weight, and wide stance while providing serious theft deterrence and weather protection.
An ArmadilloBoxes Fatboy motorcycle storage unit was selected to deliver maximum internal space, heavy-duty steel construction, and confident access for an exceptionally large cruiser motorcycle.
Customer requirement
Secure outdoor storage for a Triumph Rocket, suitable for an extremely large, heavy cruiser motorcycle requiring maximum stability and space.
The customer’s challenge
The Triumph Rocket is known for its massive engine, wide stance, and substantial weight. These characteristics make storage difficult, particularly when space is limited and standard motorcycle sheds are not designed to cope with such dimensions.
The customer needed a storage solution that would:

The solution
A Fatboy ArmadilloBoxes motorcycle storage unit was installed to provide secure outdoor protection for the Triumph Rocket. The reinforced steel construction and ground anchoring deliver exceptional stability and theft deterrence, while the increased internal width and length allow the bike to be positioned comfortably without tight clearances.
This configuration is specifically suited to heavyweight cruiser motorcycles where standard storage units would be insufficient.
The customer selected one of our secure motorcycle storage units, providing steel-built protection and reliable outdoor security suitable for home installation.

Bike fit and access for heavyweight cruisers
Despite its size and weight, the Triumph Rocket fits securely inside the Fatboy unit with sufficient space to manoeuvre safely. The wide door opening allows controlled roll-in and roll-out access, reducing effort and minimising risk when handling a heavy cruiser motorcycle.
