Our Budget Mobility Scooter Storage Unit is designed as a simple, economical push-in storage unit for a mobility scooter.

This unit is not designed to be entered or walked into. Simply open the door and push your scooter inside.

This model is ideally suited to locations where maximum security is not the primary requirement, for example where the unit is positioned in a secure garden, courtyard, sheltered area or other lower-risk location.

For roadside, exposed or higher-risk locations where security is a priority, we strongly recommend choosing one of our full-specification mobility storage units with their upgraded locking, construction and security features.

Why is this our Budget model?

We have pared this model back to the essentials to keep the price as low as possible, while retaining the strong construction ArmadilloBoxes is known for.

In fact, our Budget model still compares favourably with many competitors’ standard mobility storage units and helps demonstrate just how highly specified our standard range is.

The Budget model features:

• 0.8mm galvanised steel sides to reduce weight and allow the unit to be transported fully assembled.
• 1.2mm steel roof, floor and door.
• Metal floor.
• 2 hinges .
• Simple locking catch rather than the heavier-duty locking and handle system fitted to our standard units.
• No ventilation, making this model more suitable for fair-weather scooter users and straightforward dry storage.
• No door bar reinforcing

IMPORTANT – FLAT, SOLID BASE REQUIRED

Unlike our standard ArmadilloBoxes units, this Budget Mobility Unit does NOT have a structural floor.

It is therefore ONLY suitable for installation on a flat, solid and level concrete base or flat paving slabs.

It must NOT be installed directly onto grass, gravel, soil or an uneven surface.

The base must fully support the unit and be level before delivery.

Delivered Fully Assembled

The Budget Mobility Unit is delivered as a complete assembled unit.

Because of this, good access is essential from our delivery vehicle to the final position.
